PANTAI TIKU

Located in Tanjung Mutiara District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra, Tiku Beach stretches wide, with a coastline of approximately 43 km. It directly borders 3 Nagari, namely Nagari Tiku Selatan, Nagari Tiku Utara, Nagari Tiku V Jorong.  Tiku Beach which is somewhat overlooked by tourists. Even though the view is okay with fishing activities.

Tiku Beach, with two islands in front of it, still looks beautiful with fine sandy beaches. After taking a 2 hour journey from Bukittinggi via Kelok 44, We arrived at Tiku Beach.
On Tiku Beach, rows of sea pine trees grow. Under the pine trees which were already quite tall, street vendors opened their stalls.
At Tiku Beach, tourists can also swim there. The crashing waves become toys for children who indulge in chasing them on the beach.

By renting a fishing boat, tourists can cross to Tengah Island and Ujung Island in a 20 minute journey from Tiku Beach. These two islands have coral reefs that are still natural and well maintained. Suitable for those of you who have a hobby of snorkeling while seeing various types of colorful coral fish playing around the reef.
