Cottonwood Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located in the popular Pasteur area. The hotel offers a high standard of service and amenities to suit the individual needs of all travelers. To be found at the hotel are free Wi-Fi in all rooms, 24-hour front desk, Wi-Fi in public areas, valet parking, car park. There are 9 rooms in this B&B, each with a different theme as you can see in the website. I had to decide on just 1 type of room to book, and my choices were the Popple Tree. I loved Popple Tree more because it’s got 2 windows facing outside, giving way to more sunlight and fresh air.

The feel is homey. Just like at home, unless you’re a princess, you’d need to do some stuff on your own. For instance, fill a bottle of water in the ground floor to bring up to your room, put your own dirty dish in the container, and make your own tea. There isn’t many staff you see around, either. Facilities include a double or twin bed, bedside tables, a flat-screen TV with international channels, and a hot shower with western toilet. Even the bathrooms are decorated thematically.

 

Breakfast is provided, but you don’t have much choice. Usually they’d make you Indonesian big breakfast, like fried rice, yellow rice, or maybe porridge. If you’re not into big breakfast, you can always make your own bread & jam.

Upon check-out time, you can write your opinion on your stay on a piece of card provided at the reception desk. I suggest you write honestly because any feedback will do good to any business.

If you’re planning to stay in Cottonwood Bed & Breakfast in the weekend, you better book way ahead ‘cos Bandung is usually jam-packed. Weekday booking is a breeze, you have more options of the room types.
