TOKYO DISNEY SEA


 Tokyo Disney Sea is the second theme park built at Tokyo Disney Resort, after Tokyo Disneyland. The park opened on September 4, 2001, and was the world's first theme park dedicated to a marine theme. This park has an area of ​​approximately 176 hectares, and is located in Tokyo Bay, south of Tokyo Disneyland. This park has a “never ending story” concept, meaning that each themed port has its own story and character, which you can discover and follow as you explore the park.


Tokyo DisneySea is a popular and successful theme park, attracting millions of visitors every year. This park has won various awards and recognition, such as the Thea Award, Applause Award, and Theme Park Insider Award. The park also continues to grow and evolve, adding new attractions, shows, and facilities, as well as hosting special events and programs. One of the newest projects underway is the construction of Fantasy Springs, a new themed harbor that will transport you to Disney's fantasy world. Fantasy Springs is scheduled to open June 6, 2024.

1. Mediterranean Harbor. 
The harbor mimics the atmosphere of an Italian port city, with canals, bridges and beautiful buildings. Here, you can enjoy attractions like the Venetian Gondolas, Soaring: Fantastic Flight, and Fortress Explorations, as well as shows like Fantastic! and Porto Paradiso Water Carnival.



2. Mysterious Island
 This harbor is modeled after an artificial island created by Captain Nemo, a fictional character from Jules Verne's novels. Here, you can enjoy attractions such as Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and Nautilus Gallery, as well as food and drinks such as Vulcania Restaurant and Nautilus Galley.



3. Mermaid Lagoon
This harbor imitates an underwater world inhabited by mermaids, including Ariel, the main character from the film The Little Mermaid. Here, you can enjoy attractions such as Flounder's Flying Fish Coaster, Jumpin' Jellyfish, The Whirlpool, and Mermaid Lagoon Theater, as well as food and drinks such as Sebastian's Calypso Kitchen and Scuttle's Scoop.



4. Arabian Coast
This port imitates the atmosphere of a Middle Eastern city, with magnificent and exotic architecture and decoration. Here, you can enjoy attractions such as Sindbad's Storybook Voyage, The Magic Lamp Theater, Jasmine's Flying Carpets, and Caravan Carousel, as well as food and drinks such as Casbah Food Court and Sultan's Oasis.




5. Lost River Delta
The harbor mimics the atmosphere of a South American rainforest, with ancient ruins and artifacts. Here, you can enjoy attractions such as Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull, Raging Spirits, Mickey & Friends' Greeting Trails, and the Hangar Stage, as well as food and drinks such as Miguel's El Dorado Cantina and Yucatan Base Camp Grill.



6. Port Discovery
This port emulates the atmosphere of a port of the future, with advanced technology and innovation. Here, you can enjoy attractions such as Nemo & Friends SeaRider, Aquatopia, StormRider, and DisneySea Electric Railway, as well as food and drinks such as Horizon Bay Restaurant and Seaside Snacks.


7. American Waterfront.
This port imitates the atmosphere of an American port city, with different styles and atmosphere. Here, you can enjoy attractions such as Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania!, Big City Vehicles, and Turtle Talk, as well as shows such as Big Band Beat, My Friend Duffy, and Hello, New York!. You can also eat and drink like S.S. Columbia Dining Room, New York Deli, and Cape Cod Cook-Off.

How to get there:
From Maihama Station, take the Disney Resort Monorail to Tokyo Disney Sea Station 
(10 minutes, 260 yen). Alternatively, you can walk there in about 20 minutes.
