Pulau Pasir, Pulau Burung, Pulau Batu berlayar, Pulau Lengkuas, Belitung

How's the day? Still Shiny right?
Today, we are gonna go to hoping Island Yeay!


First stop is Pulau Burung Garuda
The stone is arranged like a Garuda.
We only can take a picture from the boat.


Second is Pulau Batu Berlayar

 Batu Berlayar (Sailing Rock) island, is formation of giant granite boulders with 2 main high vertical rock shape just like a sail where the white sands as the boat. This is why people of Belitung name this place as Batu Berlayar (Sailing Rock) island. This small island about the same size of tennis court is one of the unique attraction of island hopping tour in Belitung about 15 minutes trip from the port of Tanjung Kelayang. 



Third is, Pulau Pasir.
Pasir Island (Sand Island) actually is not an island. This place is a pile of hirst that only consist of sands. The interesting matter of this island is the hirst will only appear during low tide. During high tide this island will be hidden under the sea. This island is very small, moreless half size of football field. There is not other creatures like plants, etc in this island except special white sands of Belitung. During low tide, this island will be visited by many tourists as their stop point of the island hopping trip. The scenery surrounding is nice, circled by several small island closed among each other such as Kepayang island, Babi island, Tukong Kelayang island and Batu Berlayar. The shortest distance to neightbour island is to Kepayang island, only separated by shallow sea water as high as hip during low tide.
If you visit Pasir island, there is one thing that you shall not miss. Don't hesitate to jump into the shallow sea water especially on North cost of this island. The sea is clean whith soft and truly white sand at the bottom with low slope in a wide area. Please look into the sea, you will find a special creature of Pasir island. They are big red star fish. These star fishes are spread surrounding Pasir island. The visitor usually will not let the chance to take picture with these unique sea creature.




Fourth is Pulau Lengkuas
Lengkuas is a small island, place in North of Tanjung Binga village. Total size may less than a hectare. Surrounding the island there are several granite rock islands that you can reach by just walking cross the sea water that less that 1.2m depth. Granite boulder's structure is also unique as other beaches in combination with truly white sands and several trees. The water is totally clean, you can easily see the bottom of sea as well as fishes swimming inside the water. It is a nice place for playing in the water or snorkeling.





And the last is Pulau Burung
Burong island (Bird island), is placed in the North shore of Belitung just in front of Tanjung Binga fishery village. The size of this island is just about 2 hectares, with white sand beaches circleing the island and off course with artistic granite boulders not only along the beach but also spread along the sea surrounding. This is an island where you can spend time to feel quite beach environment where the noises are not exist. 
The unique scenary of Burong island is the giant granite boulder on the South East coast of the island that form likes a bird head. According to people surrounding, the name of this island was taken from this bird boulder. Burong is the local language for bird.
The boulder that form likes a bird had become one of the icon of the beauty of Belitung granite boulders. The size of the boulder is equal with 3 stories building with unique formation. It seem one of the boulder had been split and some part seems had fall apart because of abration. If you visit Belitung you must visit Burong island and most visitor taking self photo with the bird boulder as the background. You must do it as well.
