LAST STOP AT LAUTERBRUNNEN

by - 2:00 AM

Lauterbrunnen Valley is one of the tourist destinations that has succeeded in attracting tourists to visit Switzerland. The enchanting beauty of its natural scenery has made this valley known as the most beautiful valley in the world.

The name Lauterbrunnen itself has many meanings and they all refer to the beauty of spring. Local residents there also revealed that Lautterbrunnen means 'many spring', which means so many springs. The word Lauterbrunnen itself means many springs. This name was taken as the name of this village because of its very unique existence which is surrounded by 72 waterfalls.
Among the 72 waterfalls in the valley, you will find one of the highest waterfalls with a height of around 297 meters, namely the Staubbach waterfall.

The beauty of the natural scenery of the valley is even more complete with the 72 waterfalls that surround the entire valley. Among the 72 waterfalls, the Staubbach waterfall is the highest with a height of 297 meters. Another unique thing about Lauterbrunnen is the Trümmelbach underground waterfall which is squeezed by the Lauterbrunnen Valley and Mount Stechelberg.

Not only that, you will also see a village surrounded by three large mountains. Where the three mountains are still part of the Alps, namely Eiger, Jungfrau and Monch.
Of course, you can visit this village which is located in the Jungfrau peak area, one of the highest peaks in the Alps.

This is my last stop at Switzerland. I must catch up my bus to go to Koln, Germany.
Oh holiday is over wkwkwk! Bye Switzerland! Till next time :)

How to get there:
There are many alternatives to Lauterbrunnen. From Zurich airport you can use the train to Bern. From Bern you have to change to another train bound for Interlaken Ost. When you arrive at Interlaken Ost, you once again have to change trains to Lauterbrunnen. It's a good idea to buy a Swiss Pass if you are going to be in Switzerland for a few days because with the Swiss Pass you will get discounts on transportation and entrance tickets to paid tourist attractions.
