AKIHABARA

Anime and manga fans must be familiar with the name Akihabara. This is not without reason, because Akihabara is often described as an otaku's paradise. And this time we will visit and get to know more about Akihabara.

Akihabara is one of the districts of Tokyo that is always associated with otaku. Because this area is an otaku paradise in the fields of anime, manga and video games. What is Otaku? Otaku is a word to describe people who are crazy about something or is a Japanese term used to describe people who are really passionate about their hobbies. In Indonesian, maniac might be equivalent to otaku. Otaku is usually identified with manga or anime, it can also be about games or idol singers or artists. And in this place there are many maid cafes.

There is also an AKB48 theater here. In Akihabara, we will not only find the latest otaku goods, but also manga, games and rare action figures that are hard to find. If you want to take photos as a cosplayer, there is a place here too. And Akihabara is the best place to experience the strong otaku culture In Akihabara we will see several people dressed as maids selling flyers to visit the Maid Cafe. Apart from that, this city is full of women and men who cosplay in the clothes the anime characters wear.

I play gachapon there. Gachapon is a type of Japanese-specific vending machine, but instead of dropping drinks or food, these machines drop small (but very cute) prizes, mainly each Gachapon machine drops different prizes and most specialize in manga, anime, games, movies and small toys . such as miniature animals or food.

How to get there:
From Tokyo Station go to Akihabara Station by JR Yamanote Line
